Been here for dim sum and also dinner. Really enjoy the food, and dim sum here. Service is good. Prices are on high side. But, the taste is good. Small parking lot, free parking. Kapiolani location, close to First Hawaiian Bank, and Don Quijote. Restroom located inside restaurant. Can request for hot mustard and chili sauce. Highly recommend.

I recently celebrated Chinese New Year with a friend at this spacious dim sum spot, and overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The menu features a great variety of options--with photos that make it easy to decide what to try. We sampled classics like sui mai, shrimp dumpling (har gow), Chinese broccoli, congee (jook), and a steamed BBQ pork bun. The shrimp dish, in particular, caught my eye and looked fun. The restaurant is large with plenty of seating, and I appreciated the convenience of the parking lot right at the front, which made our early Wednesday visit hassle-free. Even though it got busy during lunch hours, the team managed everything quite well. All in all, it's a solid spot for dim sum that delivers a satisfying meal and a relaxed atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend it if you're in the area and looking for a reliable place to enjoy a diverse dim sum selection.

I love all the food in here the place clean and server very humble and fast you can eat when breakfast time or lunch and dinner they have a good fried rice too you must try

Sunday January 12, 2025. We decided to try here as we were in the area. The food was easy to order as it was by numbers and you marked down the quantity on the order sheet. The food came out shortly after. It looked good and it tasted good too. We ordered too much and ended up taking it home to eat for tomorrow. Eyes bigger than the stomach. Never go to a food place really hungry and this is going to be your first meal for the day. The service was fast and friendly. The ambiance was casual and not needed to dress up unless you want to. There is plenty parking in the lot and street parking is rare. With seafood in the name of the restaurant name. I would think there would be lobster, crab, mussels and so on. They had only shrimp for their seafood dishes. Oh, wells. It was still good.

Wanted dim sum today and Yelped to find YYK perm closed. This showed and saw that it was highly rated. *Tasty. Filling good. Skin not oversteamed Siu Mai 3.5/5 Ha gow 4/5 Pan fried rice rolls 3.5/5 This brought me back to the wet market in HK in 1984. Nostalgic. The only neg was the oil tasted kinda old. IYKYK. Pan Fried Chives Dumplings 3/5 Filling was good. Wish there was more chives. Preferred Skin chewy-er vs. Easily breaking apart upon 1st bite Baked BBQ Pork Bun 3.5/5 This was surprisingly good although the bun and cookie top looked dry. The Filling didn't have food dye and had decent flavor Steamed Bean Curd Skin Rolls 4/5 Great taste and texture. Filling was hot and tasty Each item comes out sporadically over the course of 1 hr. Each time it's piping hot. Overall, I'd give it a 3.5 as many dishes were surprisingly GOOD and tasty. We were seated at the last table before the wait began. The food was a bit slow to come out but it was bearable. This might be our new go-to dim sum place, that is close to where we stay

Always wanted to try this restaurant for dim sum, came around 10:30 for brunch. The address says Kapiolani but the entrance is on the back side street, had to circle a couple of times! We ordered a bunch of dim sum and they are all good esp. the fried taro puffs-- full of taro flavour! Almost everything came at once piping hot, our eyes keep popping and our hands went for the food right away so...forgot to take any pics! Such reasonable prices for a lot of food, highly recommend.

Our party of 8 enjoyed dinner tonight at Kapiolani Seafood. I made reservations for 7:15 and our table was ready when we got there a little early at 7:00. Our waitresses were really nice and the service was good! We ordered a lot of food and everything was delicious! The only thing we didn't care for was the super bright lighting. I wish they would change the lighting to make it a little darker so it would be more comfortable in there. But the food was amazing so we would probably go back there when we get the craving for Chinese.
